Role: Test Technician
Location: San Diego, CA – Onsite
Duration: 6 months
Job Summary
The Test Technician will perform testing of various technologies by following established test procedures and methodologies. The technician will set up and operate specialized test equipment, run programs or builds, troubleshoot testing issues, document test results, and perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration. The role is hands-on and works under close supervision, with opportunities to identify basic issues and support troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and provide feedback on test outcomes and issues.
- Set up specialized test equipment and load/run programs or builds.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of test equipment and tools.
- Perform basic repairs on test equipment as needed.
- Execute established test methodologies and accurately document results.
- Debug and troubleshoot routine testing issues or failures.
- Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues appropriately.
- Conduct basic analysis and gather information to identify the source of issues.
- Communicate status updates and potential obstacles to the team lead.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned work.
- Manage assigned priorities, deadlines, and deliverables under supervision.
- Adapt to changes and setbacks while meeting project deadlines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and technical instructions.
- Ability to document test results accurately.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in:
- Semiconductor testing
- Hardware testing
- Digital testing
- Test technician or related technical work
