Job Summary
Seeking a Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Representative to support the Florida Blue Direct Sales team. This is a high-touch, customer-facing role responsible for handling inbound sales inquiries, assisting with outbound campaigns, scheduling appointments, and supporting sales agents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and listening skills, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure customers are routed to the appropriate department while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Handle high-volume inbound sales calls and route customers to the appropriate department.
- Capture and update customer and lead information accurately in the CRM system.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while following all compliance requirements, including authentication, PHI, approved scripts, and Do Not Call (DNC) procedures.
- Conduct outbound outreach campaigns to build rapport with members and prospective customers.
- Schedule appointments and perform callback follow-ups for sales representatives.
- Support sales agents by managing customer inquiries and administrative sales support tasks.
- Maintain professionalism and focus on first-call resolution.
- Navigate multiple systems efficiently while documenting customer interactions.
- Communicate effectively via phone and email.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0–1 year of customer service, call center, or related experience.
- Ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
- Excellent data entry, keyboarding, and computer navigation skills.
- Experience working across multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
- Ability to identify customer needs and respond appropriately.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Postsecondary education, vocational training, or college coursework.
- Experience in a professional contact center or customer service advisor role.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM, Five9 Telephony, or similar contact center software.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
