- Client (Personal injury attorney) is one of Southern California’s leading plaintiff personal injury and workers’ compensation law firms, is seeking an experienced and motivated Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team.
- With over 42 years of excellence, client has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional legal representation to injured clients while fostering a collaborative and rewarding work culture.
- 3+ years of Workers’ Compensation experience preferred.
- Trial experience is a plus.
- Active State Bar membership in good standing (or pending Bar results).
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Manage a caseload of 150–250 workers’ compensation matters efficiently and profitably.
- Conduct case evaluations and develop litigation strategies.
- Analyze medical records, legal reports, and determine case valuation using AMA Guides (5th Edition).
- Draft settlement demands, legal pleadings, trial briefs, petitions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, trials, and appellate proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements and advise clients on legal strategies and resolutions.
- Collaborate with and oversee paralegals, legal assistants, and case managers.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional client service.
- Mentor junior associates and support team development.
- Participate in team events and contribute positively to firm culture.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
- Experience with case management systems such as Smart Advocate is a plus.

- Decision: Made quickly after the survey and follow-up meetings.
