Job Title: Warehouse Worker I
Location: Norcross, GA 30071
Duration: 4 Months
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM (Could possibly leave early depending on workload)
 
Job Summary:
Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation, and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.
 
Candidate Shortlist & Tour Notification:

  • Tour Date & Time: Wednesday, July 29th at 9:30 AM - only candidates who were confirmed for an interview on the tour should report.
PPE:
  • ASTM F2413-18 OSHA approved toe
  • Slip-resistant sole
  • 5-inch minimum ankle support
 
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Required:
  • Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
  • Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements; and ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF).

Essential Duties:
  • Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
  • Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
  • Drop merchandise for reserve to pick slots.
  • Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
  • Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
  • Verify quality of product, packaging, and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
  • Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
  • Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
  • Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
