Job Title: Warehouse Worker I
Location: Norcross, GA 30071
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM (Could possibly leave early depending on work load)

Job Summary:
Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas. Knowledge, skills, and abilities. Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift, ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time; ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements; and ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF).
 
Essential Duties:
  • Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
  • Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
  • Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
  • Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
  • Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
  • Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
  • Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
  • Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
  • Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
  • Performs house keeping duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
