Job Title– Vulnerability Management Coordinator
Location: Toronto, ON (4 days in office coming but actual is 2 days in office (Monday mandatory & the other flexible). During training, the expectations are to be on site often.)
Duration: 12 months with possible extension/conversion
Team size: 3
Working hours: Standard 9 to 5pm

Job Description:
We are seeking a Vulnerability Management Coordinator/Compliance Analyst (Contractor) to support day-to-day vulnerability management and compliance activities across application and infrastructure environments. This role is execution?focused and works closely with technology teams to track, coordinate, and drive timely remediation of security vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate intake, analysis, triage, and tracking of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Support remediation activities by working with application and infrastructure teams.
  • Maintain accurate vulnerability and issue records in tracking tools.
  • Monitor remediation progress, identify risks or delays and escalate as needed.
  • Support vulnerability metrics, reporting, and dashboards. Including dashboard development.
  • Provide operational support for audit or control testing activities as needed (limited audit exposure).
  • Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.
  • Tracks exception requests and corresponding approvals.
  • Prepares concise executive level, fact-based reporting
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
  • Supports/drives various compliance related initiatives as needed.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
 
MUST HAVE
  • 4–6 years of experience in vulnerability management, IT security operations, or technology risk/compliance.
  • Solid understanding of vulnerability management processes and security concepts.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (verbal & written). Able to work with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast- paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Understanding of query creation and maintenance
Nice to Have
  • Experience with ServiceNow (strong plus).
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI).
  • Exposure to audit or control testing support activities.
  • Co-Pilot knowledge
  • COBIT (not a deal breaker)
  • Ability to understand and build queries
Additional Information
  • Contractor role; execution?focused. Able to learn & good team fit
  • No people management responsibilities.
  • Open to Business Analyst (although there is not BA requirements for this role)
  • No need to be super technical for this role
 
Interview process: 2 Rounds, 1 Teams Panel/Group & 1 final Teams with Manager +1 (Director)
