Job Title: User Experience Designer II
Location: Seattle, WA/ Westborough, MA
Duration: 07 Months
The current strategic priority is platform unification — requiring data and UI standardization across all applications, process alignment between flexible frontend tools and structured backend systems, and cross-system integrations with enterprise platforms. With a recent organizational integration doubling the user base, there is an urgent need to ensure a consistent, unified user experience across the entire application suite.
This UX Designer will be responsible for:
- Application Uniformity: Driving standardized navigation, consistent UI patterns, and unified interaction models across all applications in the portfolio
- Cross-System Integration UX: Designing seamless user experiences for integrations between internal tools and enterprise systems — ensuring users can move fluidly between interconnected platforms
- Frontend Flexibility with Backend Rigor: Designing interfaces that allow user flexibility while ensuring data is validated and cleaned before reaching downstream systems
- Customer Interviews & User Research: Conducting regular customer interviews, usability studies, and contextual inquiries with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements, validate design decisions, and identify pain points before development begins
- Business Communication & Stakeholder Alignment: Translating complex technical requirements into clear, accessible design narratives for business stakeholders; presenting design proposals, research findings, and UX recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners to drive alignment and informed decision-making
- User Onboarding: Supporting the onboarding of new user groups to existing tools with intuitive flows that minimize training overhead
- Shared Design System: Establishing and maintaining a unified design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency across all applications
- Experience Metrics: Partnering with engineering to improve customer satisfaction scores and performance monitoring metrics across the application portfolio
Basic qualifications:
- 4-6 years UX experience
- 2-4 years web development experience would be great, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree:Web Design/Mulit-Media/Computer Science/Design Arts would be the preferred degree fields
- Great communication skills
- Experience with website and application support
- Knowledge of how enterprise applications work
- AI Vibe Coding Experience
- Prompt Engineering Experience is very important
KPI: Track performance by ensuring HC allocation every week
