Job Description

Title: Technician 1
Duration: 6 Months (with Conversion possibility)
Location: Centennial, CO (All five days on site)
 
Equipment: Windows and a Headset
OT Required: No Overtime
Schedule hours: 7-4 Mountain time
Interview: 2 rounds
 
Primary Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
  • Perform quality assurance checks on inbound and outbound hardware to ensure accuracy and condition standards are met
  • Inspect returned devices from store closures and restaurant closures for damage, completeness, and proper documentation
  • Verify asset records in ServiceNow are accurate and updated at time of processing
  • Flag discrepancies or damaged equipment to HAM Lead for disposition decisions
  • Support device configuration activities including PIN pad setup and device staging as directed
  • Assist with configuration verification prior to outbound shipment to ensure devices are ready for deployment
 
End-of-Life (EOL) Processing & Recycling
  • Process end-of-life hardware for recycling in accordance with established EOL disposition procedures
  • Prepare devices and peripherals for scheduled ERI recycling pickups on the established bi-weekly cadence
  • Accurately document serialized EOL inventory using the depot recycling workbook and ServiceNow
  • Support data sanitization procedures for data-bearing devices prior to recycling or disposition
  • Assist with physical organization and labeling of EOL inventory in designated depot space
  • Contribute to stockroom organization and inventory separation to maintain operational workspace standards
 
General Depot Operations
  • Support inbound receiving, logging, and staging of hardware returns from stores and corporate locations
  • Assist with outbound fulfillment packaging and shipping preparation as needed
  • Participate in daily standup and contribute to team communication around workload and priorities
  • Follow all Client’s standard work documentation and depot safety procedures
  • Support inventory audit activities as operational bandwidth allows
  • Adapt to shifting priorities during peak NSO season and high-volume return period
 
 
Skills:   
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable working with hardware devices including POS terminals, PIN pads, monitors, and peripherals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in asset documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage a backlog of tasks effectively
  • Clear and professional communication with team members and leadership
  • Comfortable working in a depot or warehouse environment with physical activity including lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent presence required — this is a fully onsite role
 
Preferred
  • Prior experience in IT asset management, hardware processing, or depot operations
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/asset tracking platforms
  • Experience with device configuration or staging (POS, PIN pads, mobile devices)
  • Understanding of EOL hardware disposition and data sanitization practices
  • Ability to work with serialized inventory and maintain accurate documentation
 
Education:        
  • High school diploma
  • Some college preferred
