Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Writer, Information Security to support the development and maintenance of security documentation across standards, engineering, and operational teams.
This role will work with subject matter experts to document procedures, update technical and engineering specifications, and improve the quality and usability of existing documentation. The position will also help organize and enhance documentation repositories to support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and more efficient execution across a distributed team.
The person will partner with standards owners, engineers, and process leads to translating technical requirements and informal knowledge into clear, structured, and maintainable documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Include drafting and editing procedures, revising engineering documentation, standardizing content formats, identifying documentation gaps, and helping build a more accessible repository of reference materials for new team members.
- The work should reduce reliance on individual team members for repeated knowledge transfer and improve consistency in how documentation is created and maintained.
- The ideal candidate has experience writing technical and procedural documentation in information security, engineering, infrastructure, or other technical environment.
- They should be able to quickly understand technical concepts, work effectively with subject matter experts, and produce practical documentation for both technical and operational audiences.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and experience with shared documentation platforms and structured content management are preferred.
