Essential Job Functions:
  • Review and edit intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, clarity, consistency, and adherence to established style guidelines.
  • Ensure intelligence products comply with Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings, the DIA Style Guide, ICD 203, and applicable IC standards.
  • Work closely with analysts and other intelligence professionals to improve the quality, accuracy, and readability of finished intelligence products.
  • Ensure complex intelligence information is presented clearly and appropriately for a variety of audiences.
  • Support editing and production requirements in a 24/7 operational environment.

Required Skills: 
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Experience reviewing and editing written intelligence products with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings, DIA Style Guide, and ICD 203.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 operational environment.
  • One of the following education and experience combinations:
  • Associate's degree and 8+ years of technical editing experience;
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of technical editing experience; or
  • Master's degree and 2+ years of technical editing experience.

  • Target Systems Analysis
  • European Theater military analysis
  • Joint Targeting Cycle expertise
  • All-source military capabilities analysis
  • Complex systems vulnerability analysis
  • Multi-agency intelligence collaboration
  • Long-form intelligence production
Desired Skills:
  • Experience working in a Combatant Command (COCOM) environment.
  • Experience incorporating intelligence information into all-source research, analysis, and production.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community and organizational style guides.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to audiences with varying backgrounds and levels of expertise.
