Job Title: Sr. Team Leader, Mfg.
Duration: 6 months
Location: Greenville, SC
6 days a week (Flexible with hours)
3rd Shift - 10:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Flexible)
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (FLexible)
MUST HAVE: ASEPTIC experience
Job Description
Provide strong people leadership with a focus on creating/maintaining a positive work environment through effective communication, performance management, accountability, etc. This includes time and attendance review and maintenance for all department employees.
Ensure all SOPs are current, and training on SOPs and processes remains current.
Analyze Production efficiencies downtime and waste. Lead teams to improve the results. Participate in finding a ‘better way”.
Understands and uses LEAN manufacturing techniques to drive process improvements.
Identifies, analyzes, and recommends opportunities to reduce compliance and aseptic risk.
Write investigations and CAPA actions for non-conformances in the department. Work with QA to quickly resolve any variance or document errors so that product may be released on time. Lead Problem Solving activities.
Manage staffing levels and budget spending.
Supervise employees who are responsible for aseptic filling of sterile ophthalmic solutions including space and line preparation.
Education (Preferred): BS or BA degree, prefer Technical degree
Advanced problem solving such as Six Sigma and Lean training, Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
Experience: 2-5 years' experience supervising in manufacturing environment. 2 or more years in a regulated industry. Aseptic processing REQUIRED.
Preferred Skills: Computer skills – Proficient in the use of Excel and Word. Demonstrated project management skills, excellent time management and organizational skills required. Technical writing and problem solving tools preferred.
