Job Title: Senior SAP Finance Consultant
Location: Hybrid/Remote - Candidate must be able to work from one of the client's offices at least once per week.
Duration: 12 Months
5 Must Haves:

Position Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Finance Consultant to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Finance solutions.
- The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient finance solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership
- Lead SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) solution design, implementation, and support activities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions and functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to define financial processes and requirements.
- Provide expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance best practices.
- Configure and support:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Product Costing
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Treasury and Cash Management (preferred)
- Project Delivery
- Participate in all phases of SAP projects including:
- Requirements Gathering
- Solution Design
- Build and Configuration
- Testing
- User Training
- Cutover Planning
- Hypercare Support
- Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution activities.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and integrations.
- Integration Management
Manage integration with:
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP WM/EWM
- SAP BW/SAC
- Concur
- Banking Platforms
- Tax Engines (Vertex, Avalara, etc.)
- Collaborate with ABAP, Basis, Security, and Integration teams.
- Support & Governance
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolution of complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of SAP FI/CO consulting experience.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Experience in global template design and deployment.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
- Knowledge of Treasury, Cash Management, and FSCM.
- Experience working in retail.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
