Job Title: Senior Program / Project Manager 
Duration: 6 Months (Extensions possible based on business needs)
Location: Remote (preferably Pacific Time)

Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support initiatives within the IT PMO organization. This role will drive complex, cross-functional programs in highly regulated environments and work closely with internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate can onboard quickly, lead at scale, and operate effectively across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple IT and technology-driven programs within the IT PMO
  • Support project teams including Testing, Compliance, Validation, and Program Managers
  • Drive execution of medium to large-scale initiatives, including enhancements and second/third-tier projects
  • Manage programs involving up to ~100 stakeholders/resources
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, AI, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams
  • Engage and manage external vendors under Statement of Work (SOW) models
  • Ensure delivery in regulated environments, including documentation, validation, and compliance requirements
  • Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and VPs
  • Support teams operating in Waterfall environments, with some teams transitioning to Agile

Required Experience & Skills
  • 15+ years of Project or Program Management experience
  • Strong background in technology-driven initiatives (deep finance expertise not required)
  • Proven experience in regulated industries (FDA, validation, compliance)
  • Ability to onboard rapidly and operate with minimal ramp-up
  • Experience managing large, complex programs with distributed teams
  • Strong vendor management and SOW delivery experience
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives beyond traditional IT project management

Preferred Industry Background
  • Medical Devices or Pharma strongly preferred
    • Experience with companies such as Boston Scientific or Medtronic is highly desirable
  • Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Procurement experience is a plus
  • Large-scale manufacturing environments (e.g., P&G) also acceptable

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • PMP certification strongly preferred

Location & Work Model
  • Mostly remote
  • US location not required; global candidates considered
  • Time zone flexibility required:
    • US-based projects: availability during US business hours, preferably Pacific Time
    • APAC / EMEA projects: alignment with respective regional hours
  • Teams operate across US, EMEA, and APAC with overlapping collaboration windows
