About the Role
This role will manage a large receivable portfolio, drive collection strategies, and ensure timely cash flow. Each collector oversees a high-volume portfolio of hospitals with a monthly target around $40 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for higher/complex monthly collection of the cash deemed necessary to achieve the Corporate Daily Sales Outstanding (DSO) objectives by reviewing the daily GetPaid Collection work queue and communicating to assigned customers 45%
- Develop and execute collection strategies for higher revenue/complex customers to achieve monthly and quarterly operational cash flow objectives 20% Resolve disputed invoices in collaboration with team 10%
- Prepare documentation packet supporting credits to customers for product pricing errors 5% Review and release pending customer orders being held due to credit concerns in accordance with department guidelines 5%
- Analyze customer credit rating and history for recommendations of extension of credit and credit limits 5%
- Identify and present to management customer accounts requiring third party collection action 5%

Required H.S. Diploma with 4 yrs previous related experience
Skills:
- Proven expertise including usage of MS Office Suite
- Experience with an ERP software (e.g JDE)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills, with focus on negotiating and persuasion
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge on Edwards products and customers
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Ability to build relationships with focus on negotiating and persuasion
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision, including inter-departmental teams and with other departments
