Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
2nd Shift Differential of $3.00/
hr
Hours:2nd shift hours: 4pm - 2am (MON-THUR / overtime possible on Fridays)

Individual will be responsible for maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. Individual will adhere to current ISO requirements and observe all safety and housekeeping requirements.

What you will do:
Conduct routine inspections of machinery, and perform preventive maintenance (Acme & Davenport Screw Machines)
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electric, and hydraulic equipment problems
Ability to read blueprints to determine repair parts needed.
Responsible for performing repairs to manufacture specifications, as needed on equipment. (Such as replacing worn shafts, gears, belts, pullies, etc.)
Ability to assist setup and operators to resolve part changeover issues / material defects.
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
Ability to assist in training others.

Experience Required:
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in these maintenance areas: mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and trouble-shooting skills.
Must be trained in LOTO(Lockout-Tagout).
Preferred job experiences include; machine maintenance, auto mechanics, screw machine maintenance, etc.
Mechanically Inclined Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixing things both familiar and unfamiliar.
Must be able to read machine drawings.

Education:
High school diploma, trade school experience or GED preferred.
Employee must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
Mathematical Skills Basic mathematical skills are required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning Ability Ability to understand and carry out detailed written and oral instructions.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is also required to bend, stoop and lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, distance, peripheral and ability to adjust focus.
