Work Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite)


Job Description:
Product Development Science and Technology (PDS&T) is seeking a motivated Scientist to support parenteral drug product process development, as well as commercial site scale-up and tech transfer. The candidate independently designs and executes lab studies to develop robust manufacturing processes for clinical-phase and commercial products. This individual generates and analyzes precise, reliable, and reproducible data promptly, either independently or under the guidance of a senior scientific leader. This role is an integral part of the product development and CMC teams.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or PhD (0+ years) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting process development of parenteral drug products.
  • Design and execute studies to evaluate the chemical and physical stability of biologics under various conditions, including pH, ionic strength, temperature, light, and moisture.
  • Assess the impact of manufacturing process stresses such as freeze-thaw, mixing, filtration, filling, and lyophilization to develop robust dosage forms.
  • Interpret experimental results, identify deviations, and design follow-up studies to support development activities.
  • Demonstrate strong scientific writing and verbal communication skills for effective data presentation and cross-functional collaboration.
