Job Title: SAP PaPM Cloud Technical Developer
Location: Remote, with limited travel as required by the client
Duration: 6 Months(Possibilty of Extension)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP PaPM Cloud Technical Developer with strong hands?on experience in SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Cloud. This is a heavily technical role focused on designing, building, supporting, and optimizing PaPM Cloud models, allocation logic, security, transports, and integrations with SAP HANA and related data sources. The role supports PaPM implementations for the Life Sciences domain and works closely with functional and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate, high?performance financial allocations and reporting.
Experience
• 8+ years of overall SAP experience
• Strong, hands on PaPM Cloud technical experience (mandatory)
Required Skills (Mandatory)
• SAP PaPM Cloud – hands on technical expertise
• PaPM allocation modeling (cost, revenue, statistical allocations)
• PaPM Cloud security & RBAC configuration
• PaPM transports and deployment management (DEV, QA, PROD)
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA
• Experience with SAP Datasphere (SAP DS) or equivalent data platforms
Nice?to?Have Skills
• Experience with SLT, SDI, or file?based interfaces
• Performance optimization for high?volume financial data
• Life Sciences industry experience

Responsibilities
SAP PaPM Cloud – Technical Development
• Design, build, and maintain SAP PaPM Cloud models, including environments, models, versions, and processes.
• Develop and support complex allocation cycles, including cost, revenue, and statistical allocations.
• Configure and optimize PaPM functions to handle high volume data processing efficiently.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve PaPM calculation and execution issues.
• Monitor and improve PaPM model performance and runtime efficiency.
• Design and implement multi step allocation logic using PaPM allocation functions.
• Validate allocation results and ensure reconciliation with source systems.
• Optimize PaPM models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.
Security & Authorizations
• Configure and manage role based access control (RBAC) within SAP PaPM Cloud.
• Assign and manage users, roles, and authorizations for:
Model access
Data visibility
Execution and administrative privileges

• Manage PaPM Cloud transports across DEV, QA, and PROD environments.
• Create and manage transport requests and dependencies.
• Troubleshoot transport related issues and ensure successful deployments.
• Support release management and version control for PaPM artifacts.
• Coordinate deployments and perform post transport validation.
Interfaces & Data Integration
• Design, build, and support interfaces between source systems and PaPM / SAP HANA.
• Work with SAP HANA tables and views to ensure reliable data extraction and processing.
• Support integrations using SLT, SDI, SAP Datasphere, or file based interfaces, as applicable.
• Ensure accurate data loads, validation, and reconciliation across systems.
• Troubleshoot data flow and interface issues end to end.
