Job Description
We are seeking a creative and highly motivated Research Associate to join our growing automation/flow cytometry team. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the company's pipeline of next-generation cell therapies by supporting the automation and flow cytometry core functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize automation assays to enable robust and efficient high-quality data generation for high-throughput cell-based assays
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems (e.g. liquid handlers like Bravo, Assist Plus, Mantis) and flow cytometry instrumentation
- Perform daily QC, maintenance, and troubleshooting of flow cytometry instruments Perform aseptic cell culture of adherent & suspension cell lines
- Conduct aseptic cell culture techniques for adherent and suspension cell lines
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver key project milestones
- Manage laboratory and cell line inventory, equipment, and relevant software (Benchling, MS Office)
- Present findings effectively in team meetings
- B.S. degree with 6 months to 1 year of experience, M.S. degree with 0 years of experience in biology-related field or in molecular biology, immunology, or cell biology is required
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of automated liquid handling systems
- Basic knowledge of flow cytometry principles and applications
- Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture (suspension and adherent)
- Self-motivated, organized, and strong team collaboration skills
- Ownership mindset and eagerness to take on additional responsibilities
