Radiologist Technologist

Title: Radiologic Technologist – Mobile
Location: Syracuse, Utica and/or Albany, New York
Setting: Mobile imaging; skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centres, and patients' homes
Job Type: Field-based / Independent Role
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform portable diagnostic X-rays based on physician orders
• Operate and transport mobile imaging equipment
• Verify patient identity and exam details
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Document exams and transmit images for radiologist interpretation
• Communicate with patients, nursing staff, and facility personnel
• Maintain equipment and report any service issues
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT certification required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques
• Comfortable working independently and managing a field-based schedule
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Mobile/portable imaging experience preferred, but not required
• Independent and self-motivated
• Professional and patient-focused
• Comfortable travelling between different patient/facility locations
• Able to manage time effectively without constant supervision
• Strong in portable X-ray procedures and patient interaction.
