About the Role:
You will serve as a first responder for client's live community safety services, providing real-time operational support during active events and ensuring service integrity across Search Party for Dogs, Fire Watch, and Community Requests. When not responding to active incidents, you will document workflows, identify automation opportunities, and help build the operational playbooks that will scale these services.

About the Role:
You will serve as a first responder for client's live community safety services, providing real-time operational support during active events and ensuring service integrity across Search Party for Dogs, Fire Watch, and Community Requests. When not responding to active incidents, you will document workflows, identify automation opportunities, and help build the operational playbooks that will scale these services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to operational issues across Search Party for Dogs, Fire Watch, and Community Requests
- Support third-party partners (animal shelters, Fi, Tractive, DocuPet, Chewy, etc.) in initiating and managing Search Parties
- Coordinate with Watch Duty reporters during active fire events to ensure accurate Fire Watch data and appropriate community notifications
- Supervise AI-assisted workflows for Community Requests, flagging high-risk events and escalating to local agencies as appropriate
- Maintain detailed incident logs and post-event retrospectives
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each service
- Identify manual processes suitable for automation and partner with engineering to implement improvements
- Participate in on-call rotation with defined response SLAs
- Comfort working with AI-assisted workflows and escalation processes
- Background in process documentation, workflow design, or operations automation
- 3+ years of experience in trust & safety operations, community operations, crisis communications, or a related field
- Strong judgment in ambiguous, time-sensitive situations
- Excellent written communication skills for partner and agency coordination
- Comfort working with AI-assisted workflows and escalation processes
- Experience in emergency management, public safety dispatch, or 911/crisis center operations
- Familiarity with animal welfare organizations or pet technology platforms\
- Background in process documentation, workflow design, or operations automation
- Experience working with third-party API integrations or partner support
