Job Description
Role: Power Platform Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL -3 days onsite a week
Duration: 2+ Months
• Guides the development and implementation of digital workflows, automation solution, and collaborative platforms used across business functions.
• Provides in-depth consultation to business partners, technology teams, and management to design and deliver scalable digital solutions aligned with operational and transformation goals.
• Acts as a digital expert supporting workflow automation and analytics initiatives.
• Evaluates existing and emerging digital tools and technologies to identify solutions that best fit business needs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep knowledge of digital collaboration platforms, workflow automation, and analytics solutions within enterprise environments.
• Five or more years of experience in automation, process improvement, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies.
• Professional certification related to Power BI, Power Platform, AI is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Requirements/ Responsibilities
• In-depth knowledge of digital maturity models, business process optimization, and automation best practices.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing workflows using Power Automate.
• Experience integrating digital workflow across Microsoft 365, Azure Services, ServiceNow and other third-party platforms.
• Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports for operational, risk, compliance, and performance metrics.
• Experience managing digital initiatives using Agile delivery, and tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or MS project.
• Experience designing and implementing workflows using AI agents, Copilot, and prompts.
• Experience with cybersecurity domains including identity, data, infrastructure, and cloud security etc.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and policies.
