Position Title: Phlebotomist II
Work Location: Lakeland, FL
Assignment Duration: 3 months
Work Schedule: 6:30 AM – 3 PM, Monday–Friday
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary:
We need a Phlebotomist II to perform blood draws in a high-volume patient service center.
The role involves drawing blood on patients of all ages, maintaining quality, and ensuring patient comfort.
Background & Context:
This is coverage of FMLA. Orientation and training will be conducted at the worksite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draw blood from 38+ patients per day in a medium-sized patient service center.
- Work with patients across all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Collaborate with internal team members and interact with external patients.
- Stand for most of the shift while performing phlebotomy tasks.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in high-volume centers.
- Customer service skills.
- Flexibility.
- Phlebotomy skills.
- Vaccinations required: MMR, Hep B (candidate may decline), TB.
- Color vision required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for most of the shift.
- Work environment: Medium-sized patient service center (PSC).
