Position Title: Phlebotomist II
Work Location: 900 W 3rd St, Ste 200, Farmville, VA 23901
Assignment Duration: 3 months (Contract to Possible Hire)
Shift- Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary
Register patients, collect labs, process specimens, prepare specimens for shipping, restock supplies, order supplies, rotate expired supplies, and perform general office duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Register patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Process specimens.
- Prepare specimens for shipping.
- Restock laboratory supplies.
- Order laboratory supplies.
- Rotate expired supplies.
- Perform general office duties.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Customer Service experience.
- Experience with hard sticks.
- Pediatric draw experience.
- Computer skills.
- Straight stick experience preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing.
Working Conditions
- 60–80 blood draws daily.
- Steady to fast-paced work environment.
- IOP setting.
- Stand approximately 3–6 hours during shift.
- Work independently.
- 2–3 weeks training.
