Pay Rate: 42.23 - 45.75
Shift: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (32-40 hours/week)

Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Registered Pharmacist to join a veterinary pharmacy team supporting the accurate preparation, dispensing, and management of prescription medications for animal healthcare. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify prescription orders received from licensed veterinarians.
- Receive and process medication orders via phone, fax, and electronic systems.
- Clarify prescription details when necessary before dispensing.
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to veterinary prescriptions.
- Label medications correctly and ensure timely, safe delivery to customers.
- Respond to medication-related inquiries from veterinarians, clinic staff, and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, dispensed medications, and controlled substances.
- Prepare daily dispensing logs, monthly usage reports, and other required documentation.
- Ensure medications are stored according to pharmacy standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain exceptional customer service while resolving order-related issues.
- Support additional pharmacy locations as needed.
- Perform pharmacy operational tasks including:
- Inventory replenishment
- Prescription data entry
- Order processing and fulfillment
- Picking and packing orders
- WMS inventory and order control
- SharePoint documentation and e-filing
- Printing prescriptions
- Clinic/CER communication
- Resolving order discrepancies
- Canceling orders in WMS
- Maintain an active pharmacist license in the resident state.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license in the resident state.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and dispensing procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
