Position Title: LMS Site Administrator III
Work Location: San Diego, CA 92130
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
 
Position Summary:
Responsible for supporting the Learning Management System (LMS) by managing training data, user access, reporting, and ongoing system maintenance to ensure compliance with GxP and organizational training requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage provisioning and deprovisioning of LMS user accounts
• Create, build, and maintain training items, curricula, learner roles, quizzes and assignments
• Assign and remove curricula and training items as needed
• Maintain training content and personnel training records in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Generate standard and ad hoc training reports
• Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly training metrics
• Conduct periodic audits of training records, curricula, and metadata to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of LMS functionality, system capabilities, and limitations
• Provide end user support and troubleshooting issues, as required
• Identify system issues, data gaps, or process inefficiencies and escalate appropriately to management
• Support continuous improvement in initiatives related to LMS processes and data integrity
• Perform other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum of 7 years of LMS experience, preferably with Veeva Vault Training
Required Skills and Competencies
• Experience and proficiency in Learning Management Systems (Veeva Vault Training preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Critical thinking skills in analyzing and exercising judgement on complex issues, guided by a thorough understanding of quality philosophy.
• Strong focus on flexibility, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, good follow-up and judgment and ability to prioritize.
• Skilled at effectively communicating department or area issues and results within and across functional areas and conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or timelines.
