Lead Business Systems Analyst

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst - Lead

Job Description – Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Mapping: Analyze complex source datasets and business processes to define comprehensive mapping logic. Responsible for creating Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation used by development teams.
• SQL Development: Write and execute complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, and window functions, to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and gaps in source systems before they impact production pipelines.
• Conversion & Reconciliation Reporting: Build and execute automated reporting frameworks to monitor data conversion health. Perform side-by-side reconciliations between load-ready files and destination systems to ensure complete data integrity.
• Stakeholder Communication: Create and present mapping materials for review, socialization, and formal sign-off. Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders, translating technical data challenges into clear business impacts.
• Triage & Incident Management: Support the verification phase by triaging system issues, analyzing incidents, identifying root causes, and preparing status reports to track resolution progress.

Technical Requirements

• Advanced SQL: Strong ability to write complex joins, subqueries, and window functions to audit and validate large datasets.
• Data Lineage & Mapping: Proven experience creating Source-to-Target Mappings (STTM) and documenting data flow processes.
• Systems & Tools: Proficiency in Snowflake and Google Sheets.
