Job Description:
- Provides day-to-day NAND Lab support across all assigned tool sets.
- Adheres to and applies safety procedures within Lab environment.
- Performs/supports safety audits routinely and manages hazardous/chemical supplies as necessary according to site safety, local or state requirements.
- Experienced executing operational steps necessary on Advantest M67xxAD automated Handler and Advantest Tester systems.
- Experienced executing operational steps necessary on Teradyne Nextest Magnum Tester systems in a Windows and User Interface environment.
- Can translate Tester & Advantest Handler Test module Interface Hardware requirements and successfully set up automated processing at required temperature.
- Examples include installing Change Kits and Device Specific Adapters (DSA) combined with working knowledge in the application of Change Kits and DSA’s.
- Debugs Advantest Handler pick and place errors with limited or no direct Supervision enabling material process flow seamlessly.
- Experienced with generating technical documentation as required.
- Examples include response flow charts, or procedural step-by-step technical documentation.
- Can apply Advantest Handler experience and complete scheduled preventative maintenance and thermal calibration requirements on schedule.
- Demonstrates Semiconductor Memory Tester Architecture understanding and translates to Tester Hardware configuration types.
- Executes tester diagnostics within Teradyne Nextest or Advantest tester environments and interprets results in failing instances to board level.
- Executes tester calibration routines for voltage and timing calibration to meet original equipment manufacturer specifications.
- Experienced with Tester Chiller systems including internal distribution and with provided facility process chilled water systems.
- Can apply Semiconductor Reliability, Availability & Maintainability metrics within an operational environment with experience to compile and report out accurately internally and externally to original equipment Manufacturer real time equipment performance metrics.
- Takes initiative for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Not risk adverse in the decision-making process.
- Responsible for timely material processing & data collection meeting Product development schedule requirements within established operating environment.
- Assumes ownership over Test Equipment & measurement tooling against Preventative Maintenance and Calibration schedules.
- Uses Lab workflow tools supporting the movement of material from incoming to outgoing.
- Tracks Interface hardware within an inventory management system.
- Troubleshoots and resolves standard and non-standard hardware and software problems.
- Provide training on test equipment & tooling for test development users as needed.
- Plans and participates with Management & Finance supporting Lab material forecasting with focus on cost reduction opportunities.
- Test Equipment experienced required. Examples include Advantest Test Equipment knowledge; overall Testers for Memory applications – Teradyne Magnum Testers; Advantest Testers including B6700, V93K, T5835 & legacy handlers – M67xx series.
- Experienced in the Application use of Microsoft Office Products Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
