Job Summary

The Janitor/Custodian is responsible for performing light and heavy janitorial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary industrial facility. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and windows while ensuring all cleaning supplies are stocked and safety standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated facility areas, including:
  • Dusting
  • Sweeping
  • Vacuuming
  • Mopping
  • Cleaning ceiling vents
  • Restroom sanitation
• Clean offices throughout all buildings and remove trash.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including:
  • Restocking paper products and soap dispensers
  • Emptying trash receptacles
  • Cleaning mirrors, fixtures, toilets, partitions, and walls
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
• Clean and maintain employee break rooms.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties and special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Wash interior and exterior windows as needed.
• Stock and maintain janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or repair needs to management.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Janitor, Custodian, Cleaner, or Housekeeper.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation procedures.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
