Location: Johns Creek, GA
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in supporting and enhancing invoicing processes, company-wide reporting, workflow automation, and business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and reporting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
This is a net-new position created due to internal team growth and promotion opportunities. The individual will work closely with Manager, gaining exposure to critical business systems while serving as a key backup resource for ongoing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for invoicing software, including workflow management, scripting (C++), form layout design, and data-reading functionalities.
- Assist in the maintenance and optimization of web-based internal workflow automation software.
- Manage AS400 ACOM systems for printing shipping tickets, order acknowledgments, and purchase orders.
- Manage Inspire systems for invoicing and check printing.
- Manage PVE for invoicing and check PDF imaging.
- Oversee document repository software to ensure efficient document management.
- Develop and maintain batch and PowerShell scripts to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Create and generate reports using Showcase Query and Report Writer.
- Troubleshoot support tickets and provide timely resolution for business users.
- Support company-wide reporting initiatives and data analysis needs.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SQL experience with a strong understanding of query development and reporting.
- Strong report-writing experience, preferably with Showcase Query and Report Writer.
- Experience supporting business applications, workflows, and reporting environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience with forms overlay design and Inspire software.
- Experience with AS400/IBM i environments.
- Experience with C++ scripting and workflow automation.
- Experience with Python and/or C#.
- Experience supporting document repository systems.
- Strong SQL and reporting experience.
- Ability to build and maintain reporting solutions.
- Excellent people skills and adaptability in a changing environment.
- Reports directly to Manager.
- Team size: 10 employees.
- Will work closely with resource, who is transitioning into more programming-focused responsibilities.
- Opportunity to become a key backup resource and gain exposure to a broad range of business systems, looking to take over resource.
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Some flexibility available.
- Minimal after-hours or rare on-call support requirements, particularly during the contract period.
