Job Title: IT Help Desk - IT Help Desk
Shift: Overnight shift; night and weekend rotation
Location: Irvine, CA. Remote possible, but must be local to the office for onsite training
Duration: 12 months with possible extension


About the Job

The Deployment Support Analyst provides remote support for restaurant technology and drives impact across the Taco Bell business by owning specific focus areas related to deployment and proactive support, including troubleshooting and resolution documentation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers and lower-level analysts.
  • Support Deployment, ECARE, and RTO programs, including troubleshooting, vendor follow-up, and Service Desk coordination.
  • Support a schedule rotation that includes night and weekend support.
  • Identify root-cause issues and defects with Tier 1 applications and share findings with Business Partners.
  • Analyze customer workflow/process issues and facilitate operational support.
  • Translate customer requests into appropriate specifications and incidents.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of assigned applications.
  • Provide technical support for programming languages and applications across various system environments.
  • Contact vendors regarding service issues for support or assistance.
  • Collaborate with Reporting and Problem Management teams.
  • Provide effective and courteous customer service.
  • Participate in departmental programs focused on exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required / Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • At least 1 year of Help Desk experience preferred
  • A+ Certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Network Certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of computer concepts, operating system commands, and scripts, including UNIX, NT, PC Fundamentals, OS/2, etc.
  • Strong business knowledge with ability to problem-solve and provide leadership to less experienced team members.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
