Notes:Role Overview
• Contract HR Generalist (6 months);
• Location: Boise, ID – 5 days onsite (required)
• Entry-level friendly; adaptability valued over tenure
Core Responsibilities
• Pre-hire & onboarding (≈75% of role)
Track post-offer steps through Day 1
Facilitate new hire orientations
• Case management (10–15/week)
Rehire eligibility checks
Terminations / separations
• Conduct first-day orientations (biweekly)
Key Qualifications
• Presentation skills
Comfortable leading sessions for 40–80 in-person (≈100 total incl. virtual)
• HR systems experience (required/preferred)
Workday (transactions, onboarding, separations)
ServiceNow (case management)
• Work authorization/I-9 documentation knowledge
• Tech-savviness & adaptability
Open to new tools (e.g., AI/Copilot)
• Attention to detail & process tracking (onboarding workflow)
Experience Profile
• 1–2 years HR or related experience preferred (not required)
• Suitable for entry-level candidates with strong aptitude
Work Conditions / Schedule
• Onsite Mon–Fri =
• Typical hours: ~7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Early start (~6:00 AM) every other Monday for hiring/orientation events
Volume & Environment
• High hiring volume environment (backfill + ramp)
• Team: ~6 members (U.S.)
• Training provided; scope may expand with proficiency

Job Description
- The North America People Services Specialist is accountable for delivering intake and escalated tier HR guidance and solutions to People Leaders and employees in Mexico. You will partner and collaborate closely with all People Team Centers of Excellence (COEs) for matters requiring COE expertise. The role requires both tactical execution and operational excellence in a dynamic and demanding environment that ensures global continuity. The focus is on delivering People services with a strong commitment to internal customer service, quality, and ongoing process improvement.
- Additionally, this role involves managing services specific to the region, which requires hands-on engagement to understand and address localized HR needs effectively. This includes staying attuned to regional cultural nuances, legal requirements, and workforce dynamics to tailor HR solutions accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Triage incoming People Service Center tickets and emails; research and resolve requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Deliver day-to-day hands-on support across the People Team spectrum, including onboarding, HR policy, total rewards, HR systems inquiries, and cyclical People initiatives/programs
- Handle all aspects of the onboarding process, including preparation and retrieval of required documentation for new hires
- Serve as a foundational subject matter expert in HR and other shared services functions such as payroll, equity, and benefits
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across various people systems and tools
- Ensure HR processes, policies, and tools are applied consistently to support business goals
- Analyze requests and escalate issues to appropriate People Team workgroups when the service center cannot resolve them; serve as a liaison with People Team COEs to ensure case resolution
- Create and maintain physical and electronic employee records, ensuring all information is accurate, secure, and up to date
- Own the prehire process for Mexico, including initiating background checks and managing the prehire tracking tool to ensure accurate data and readiness for new hires
- Facilitate day-one orientation for new hires by partnering with local leadership and various departments to provide a best-in-class onboarding experience
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership
