Position Title: HTO Utilities Maintenance Planner
Work Location: Hillsboro, OR, 97124
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary:
Planner will provide support to Utilities Operations as a Planner/ Scheduler with emphasis in maintenance execution, buildings and grounds, and environmental health and safety.
Background & Context:
Support Utilities Operations in a FDA regulated environment for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planner will provide support to Utilities Operations as a Planner/ Scheduler with emphasis in maintenance execution, buildings and grounds, and environmental health and safety.
• Maintain CMMS data integrity and perform data corrections and updates when required.
• Plan, coordinate routine and non-routine maintenance, repairs, and facilities activities.
• Assist in the development of department maintenance tasks into effective maintenance schedules. Translate work notifications into detailed work plans/work orders that include technical information and materials such as manuals, drawings and P&IDs, work and safety instructions, permits, and accurate estimates of craftspeople, equipment, tools, materials, parts, and other required resources.
• Help to develop and implement maintenance programs consistent with industry best practices, cGMPs and Company quality assurance requirements.
• Work closely with Facilities Services, MRO, service requesters, production staff, technologists, engineers and outside contractors with routine and non-routine maintenance activities and work orders to ensure continuous, optimal operation of facilities and equipment with minimal downtime.
• Ensure that department procedures comply with cGMPs and Company quality assurance requirements.
• Translate department maintenance tasks into effective maintenance schedules integrated with production runs, shutdown activities and resource availability.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance programs consistent with industry best practices, cGMPs and Company quality assurance requirements. Such programs include Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, Spare Parts Inventory Control and use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Follow up completed work plans/work orders to monitor plan quality and equipment performance trends.
• Maintain open communication with management, co-workers, customers and counterpart staff in other sites.
• Identify specific process improvement as needed and provide recommendations concerning established workflows.
• Identify training deficiencies; provide recommendations for training where applicable.
• Conduct work in an FDA regulated environment.
Qualification & Experience:
• Extensive knowledge of SAP and Utility Maintenance systems and other related strategic tools.
• Working knowledge CGMP relating to equipment maintenance and calibration activities; excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills; ability to work on multiple activities simultaneously in a fast paced environment; ability to work with minimal supervision as a member of a self directed team; must be customer service oriented.
• Other experience required is a minimum of five years in a maintenance organization with responsibilities for asset management and/or computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) administration an operation or minimum five years experience operating or administrating a comparable information system.
