The Opportunity:
The HR Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance across HR operations, ensuring adherence to applicable federal, state, and internal requirements. This role partners cross-functionally to manage employee data integrity, support audits and regulatory reporting, and execute key administrative processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
A Glimpse Into Your Day:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by supporting and executing regulatory requirements, policy updates, and compliance initiatives (e.g., minimum wage audits, tax form updates).
Lead and support HR compliance activities, including maintaining audit readiness, identifying risks, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits (e.g., OFCCP, ISO, and other compliance reviews) by compiling, validating, and maintaining required documentation and reporting (including SOC code alignment).
Oversee the end-to-end unemployment insurance (UI) process, including claims management, responses, and documentation.
Maintain employee data in HR systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all records and reporting.
Process and track employee status changes, including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
Support and help drive the rollout and administration of HR projects, programs, policies, and organizational initiatives.
Manage and execute corporate offboarding processes, ensuring a consistent, compliant experience, including system workflows, documentation, and coordination across stakeholders.
Manage employment verifications and maintain compliance-related records, including employee documentation and tax forms.
Support operational processes, including documentation management and communicating updates as needed.
Provide general HR support, including responding to employee inquiries and supporting cross-functional HR and business initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.?
Who You Are:
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum three (3) years of experience in human resources, compliance, or a similar field
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance practices
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and reporting
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and support different functions or areas within the department as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience working with HR systems (HRIS)
Preferred Experience:
Bachelors Degree in a related field
Agency or staffing experience
