Job Title: Commercial Labeling Project Management Contractor
Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404
Duration: 17+ Months (Possibility of extension depending upon business requirements and performance)

Position Summary:
  • The Commercial Labeling Contractor supports the execution of labeling activities, including artwork workflows, supporting documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • This role ensures timely, compliant delivery of labeling updates while maintaining inspection readiness and supporting global operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end labeling workflows, including form data entry, routing, reviews, and approvals (e.g., Veeva Vault)
  • Coordinate label artwork development cycles, including proof review, comment consolidation, and final approvals
  • Track and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Partner with print vendors to manage artwork proofs and revisions
  • Perform detailed proofreading and quality checks using tools such as Acrobat and GlobalVision
  • Support change implementation, including obsolescence tracking and phase-in/phase-out coordination
  • Maintain labeling documentation to ensure compliance with internal procedures and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and global stakeholders
  • Proactively identify risks, manage issues, and escalate delays or concerns as needed
  • Maintain trackers and provide status updates to ensure visibility to timelines and deliverables
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech labeling, regulatory operations, or supply chain
  • Experience managing labeling workflows, artwork reviews, and approval processes
  • Familiarity with Veeva Vault or similar systems
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and proofreading tools (e.g., GlobalVision)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail with a strong quality and compliance mindset
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within a highly regulated GXP environment
  • Familiarity with global labeling requirements and multi-region coordination
 
Nice-To-Have, but not required:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with BarTender (barcode management)
  • Experience working with print vendors and packaging components
