Job Title: Financial Analyst 5
Location: Boise, ID
Duration: 6 Months Assignment
Shift/Hours: Mon - Fri day (40 hours/week)
Description:
SAP S/4 Design Support
Location: Boise, ID; required on-site (4 days/week moving to 5); relocation at candidate’s expense if non-local
Senior-level role (8–10 years experience expected)
Core responsibilities:
Master data cleanup and validation (profit centers, cost centers, data structures)
Support migration from current SAP systems to S/4HANA
Process mapping for finance workflows
Analyze and understand existing data structures and flows
Collaborate closely with FP&A, revenue accounting, and cross-functional teams
Execute daily financial reporting tasks (P&L, variance analysis)
Build/modify dashboards and reports (Power BI preferred)
Technical requirements:
Strong SAP experience (ERP data structures, master data)
Exposure to S/4HANA transition environments (experience helpful, not mandatory)
Understanding of financial data flows and reporting systems (e.g., TM1/SACP transition exposure is a plus)
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI advantageous)
Functional/finance skills:
Experience with financial reporting, P&L analysis, cost variance
Understanding of core finance concepts (e.g., gross margin)
Ability to interpret how reports are built, not just generate outputs
Soft skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across teams
Ability to translate data into business insights
Hands-on execution with strategic thinking capability
Preferences:
Finance background or relevant finance department experience
Experience working in complex system transformation environments
Flexibility to work in highly collaborative, on-site team setting

Description:
SAP S/4 Design Support
- Support finance workstreams for SAP S/4 design and implementation
- Partner with IT and business teams on: Profit center and cost center alignment, Financial data model design, Chart of accounts / hierarchy considerations
- Assist in documenting requirements, testing scenarios, and validating outputs
- Perform detailed assessment of current finance master data: Profit centers, Cost centers, Customer / segment attributes
- Identify: Data inconsistencies, Duplication / fragmentation, Misalignment with reporting structures
- Drive data cleanup recommendations and execution support
- Define and document standard finance workflows, including Planning and forecasting processes, Data governance and ownership models, Master data maintenance workflows
- Develop clear operating procedures to improve: Data accuracy, Process efficiency, Cross-functional alignment
- Forecasting and variance analysis
- Scenario modeling (pricing, demand, supply)
- Executive reporting and insights
