Job Title: Equipment Operator I
Location: Orlando, FL 32809
Duration: 5+ Months
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 6 PM - 2 AM (however, they will work till the job has been completed each day) Training Schedule Monday - Friday 9 AM - 6 PM, for 1 and 2 weeks.

  • *MUST have experience with DOUBLE ELECTRIC PALLET JACK, Need to know how to drive a reach truck *** Please make sure this shows in the job history and not just in the "skills" section of the resume. No sit-down equipment - all stand-up
  • *Environment- dry goods, non-freezer for hotel amenities.
 
Will be asked to do additional warehouse work as described below.
  • Must be experienced on double pallet jack operation – no exceptions – 2-4 years of experience
  • Order picking from the floor and sometimes upper locations (High reach experience is a must)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. Team lifts for 50+
  • Build pallets and secure pallets to avoid tipping.
  • Production environment – must have a sense of urgency.
  • Must be able to work OT if the workload demands it
  • Steel Toe Shoe or Composite Toe must be worn on day 1 of the job
  • Top 3 Must Haves - attention to detail, strong work ethic, Team Work
 
Experience & Responsibilities:
  • 2 - 3 Years of Experience (The manager is not looking for someone green. A candidate should have at least over 1 year of experience)
  • Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
  • Selecting the correct products from warehouse racking.
  • Labeling product using SOS label technology.
  • Palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders.
  • Delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Hand selects orders within warehouse dry environments.
  • Operates assigned SOS unit to create labels.
  • Correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.).
  • Stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations.
  • Stretch-wraps product on loading dock.
  • Maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, SOS unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment.
  • Must follow Client Safe preferred work methods at all times and follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by Client.
  • This position requires working until all products are accurately selected and loaded including potential overtime on holidays and weekends.
  • Essential skills include the ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard.
  • Working rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meeting or exceeding established cases per error goals, and developing a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures.
  • Basic requirements include being over the age of 18, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements.
  • Basic arithmetic skills, and adequate physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Reports to Night Warehouse Manager / Supervisor.
