Job Title: Environmental Health, Safety, Security / Chemical Data Administrator
Location: BOISE, ID, USA, 83716
Duration: 12 Months Assignment
Work Hours: Mon to Fri | 40 hours per week 

Notes:
Core Skills Required:
Strong Excel skills (data analysis, calculations, large datasets)
High attention to detail and data quality focus
Auditing and error identification/correction
Administrative and reporting capabilities

Technical & Domain Skills:
Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management
Chemical data handling; familiarity with CAS numbers (preferred, teachable)
Basic chemistry knowledge (helpful but not required)
SAP EHSM experience or aptitude; exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration (nice to have)

Education & Experience:
Associate degree or fresh graduates acceptable
Relevant data, environmental, or chemical exposure beneficial
Ability to learn chemical management concepts on the job

Work Scope:
Data cleanup, analysis, and system upgrades
Chemical management program administration
Global system coordination and reporting

Work Model & Location:
Boise-based; 4 days on-site initially, transitioning to remote on Fridays after training

Emphasis on accuracy, learning agility, and reliability over formal certifications


Description:
  • The Chemical Data Administrator supports Client’s Global Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) Chemical Management program by maintaining the quality, accuracy, and compliance of chemical data and records.
  • This role is responsible for data entry, data cleanup, and auditing of chemical records across SAP and chemical management systems to ensure records meet defined quality and regulatory standards.
  • The position is well suited for a recent graduate or early career professional with strong attention to detail, an interest in chemical or environmental data, and the ability to work with complex records, datasets, and documentation in a regulated environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates degree in a science related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex, structured data.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other tools.
  • Ability to follow documented process and work independently on repetitive but critical tasks.
  • Familiarity with chemical data concepts such as CAS numbers, SDSs, or regulatory lists a plus.

  • Ability to handle large datasets and repetitive data review tasks without loss of qualify
  • Clear written communications skills for summaries and documentation
