Engineering Technician II

Job Title: Engineering Technician II
Duration: 11+ months (potential extension)
Shift duration: Mon-Fri (8;00 am -6:00 pm)
Work Location: Holtsville, NY 11742 (Fully Onsite)

Job Summary:

In this position, you will independently perform testing activities with minimal supervision and contribute to the team’s efforts in ensuring product quality and performance. You will have opportunities to engage with various teams within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform hardware validation testing of systems and components with minimal supervision.
• Independently operate a variety of test equipment (spectrum analyzers, environmental temperature chambers, vibration shakers, and power supplies...)
• Troubleshoot basic hardware issues
• Support equipment readiness including but not limited to calibration, maintenance and other verifications in accordance with ISO9001.
• Interface with engineering on specific testing deliverables.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in technical discipline or GED with 3-5 years of direct work experience in similar industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
