Role: Data Governance Specialist – Customer, Loyalty, Marketing
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 8 + Months
 
Role Overview:
Looking for a Data Governance Specialist to support customer data quality, governance, and compliance in a retail environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve and maintain customer data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency)
  • Apply and enforce data governance policies, standards, and rules
  • Maintain data catalog, metadata, and data lineage
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams
 Required Skills:
  • Experience in data governance and data quality
  • Strong understanding of customer data in retail environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders (including C-suite)
  • Knowledge of data privacy, PII, and compliance requirements
