Job Summary
Florida Blue Direct Sales is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service & Sales Support Representative (Spanish/English) to provide exceptional support to both current members and prospective customers seeking health insurance. This high-touch role involves handling inbound sales inquiries, conducting outbound outreach campaigns, scheduling appointments, and supporting sales agents. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong listening skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage multiple systems while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer and triage inbound sales calls, routing customers to the appropriate department.
- Capture and maintain accurate customer and lead information within the CRM system.
- Deliver a positive customer experience while adhering to all compliance requirements, including approved scripts, authentication procedures, PHI protection, and Do Not Call (DNC) guidelines.
- Conduct outbound outreach campaigns to build rapport with members and prospective customers.
- Schedule appointments and complete follow-up callback activities for sales representatives.
- Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Navigate multiple computer applications while documenting customer interactions accurately.
- Respond appropriately to customer inquiries by actively listening and identifying customer needs.
- Communicate effectively through telephone and email.
- Support sales agents with administrative and customer service-related tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0–1 year of customer service, sales support, contact center, or related experience.
- Ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, including navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
- Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and achieve first-call resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postsecondary education, vocational training, or college coursework.
- Previous experience in a professional contact center or service advisor role.
- Experience using Salesforce, Five9 Telephony, or similar CRM/contact center applications.
- Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills.
