Job Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused Sales Support Representative to support our Direct Sales team by delivering a high-touch experience to current and prospective members. This role is responsible for handling inbound sales calls, assisting with outbound campaigns, scheduling appointments, and ensuring customers are connected to the appropriate sales resources. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and listening skills, enjoys helping customers, and can manage a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and triage inbound sales calls, ensuring customers are routed to the appropriate department.
- Capture and maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while following all compliance guidelines, including authentication, PHI, scripts, and Do Not Call (DNC) requirements.
- Conduct outbound calls as part of sales campaigns and customer outreach initiatives.
- Build rapport with customers and provide a positive, personalized experience.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with customers as needed.
- Support sales agents by managing customer interactions and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer communications and activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0–1 year of customer service, call center, sales support, or related experience.
- Ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency using computers, navigating multiple systems, and entering data accurately.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email.
- Comfortable working flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Post-secondary education, vocational training, or college coursework.
- Previous experience in a contact center, customer service, sales support, or service advisor role.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Experience using Five9 or similar telephony platforms.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required.
