Job Title: Commercial Data Analyst / Membership Analyst
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite
Duration: 9 Months
 

Job Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Data Analyst / Membership Analyst to support pharmaceutical commercial contracting and customer membership operations. This is not a traditional Data Analyst position. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with pharmaceutical commercial contracting, Model N, GPO/IDN membership management, Specialty Pharmacy contracts, and distributor operations.

The candidate will be responsible for managing customer membership data, validating contract eligibility, supporting onboarding and participation requests, monitoring membership activity, and ensuring customer information aligns with approved contract terms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage GPO/IDN customer membership additions, removals, and eligibility validation.
  • Ensure membership information is accurate, complete, and aligned with approved contract terms.
  • Support membership onboarding and contract participation requests for:
    • GPOs
    • IDNs
    • Specialty Pharmacies
    • Other customer segments
  • Validate and maintain customer attributes, including:
    • Class of Trade (COT)
    • DEA identifiers
    • HIN identifiers
  • Support distributor membership communications and EDI membership transmissions.
  • Monitor membership disconnects and investigate related issues.
  • Review and help resolve pricing discrepancies.
  • Support credit/rebill activity associated with membership and contracting processes.
  • Utilize Model N to review contract compliance and customer membership activity.
  • Maintain accurate membership and contract-related data within applicable systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, distributors, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve membership and contracting issues.
  • Analyze membership and contract data to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.
  • Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Provide strong customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Model N contract and membership management is required.
  • Experience managing GPO, IDN, and/or Specialty Pharmacy contract memberships.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial contracting.
  • Experience with customer eligibility validation and contract participation processes.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical distributor operations and membership processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • VLOOKUPs
    • Pivot Tables
    • Excel formulas
    • Data analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills for both internal and external customers.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Customer eligibility validation
  • Contract compliance
  • Pricing and contract administration
  • Membership onboarding and maintenance
  • EDI membership transmissions
  • Advanced Excel

Industry Preference

Strong preference will be given to candidates who have supported pharmaceutical manufacturers and commercial contracting organizations.

Candidates with experience specifically in pharmaceutical commercial contracting and membership administration are preferred over candidates with traditional data analyst backgrounds.

Candidates without direct Model N experience are unlikely to be competitive for this position.

Working Arrangement
