Position Title: CNC Mill Operator
Location: Fenton, MO, 63026
Duration: 12 Months
Shift: 2nd Shift: MONDAY - THURSDAY 2:15 PM- 12:45 AM.(4) (10) hour shifts)
Training - 1st shift Monday - Friday
Duration - 12 months
Pay $26.00 + 1.00 rate differential = $27.00

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Setup, layout and operate various CNC lathes and/or mills
- Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions such as fixtures, cutting speeds, depth of cut and determines sequence of operations.
- Selects, positions, and secures tool in tool holder.
- Positions and secures work piece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers or fixtures.
- Moves controls to position tool and work piece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds and depth of cut.
- Sets up fixture, starts machine.
- Requires ability to read precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
- Observes operation of machine and verifies conformity of machined work piece to specifications.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly
- Follows all Company rules and safety policies.
- Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
- Core Competency Requirements:
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Adjusts, trim and fitting parts to close tolerances.
- Follows visual aids (standard work) to ensure work is correct.
- May perform testing of assembled product.
- Make up cartons, print labels, insert protective packing material, seal finishing product.
- Meet efficiency rates.
- Perform quality checks to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Work within all safety guidelines and wear all required PPE (steel toe shoes, hearing protection and
- safety glasses).
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor or team leader.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition - 5S.
- Must be flexible to rotate job assignments within various work cells.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ yrs of previous CNC experience preferred
