Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with strong phlebotomy experience to support a busy outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will have both clinical and administrative experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient check-in and check-out.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Verify insurance coverage and collect copays.
- Perform phlebotomy (blood draws).
- Administer vaccines.
- Perform EKGs.
- Support full laboratory operations and specimen handling.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and provide excellent patient care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
- Recent phlebotomy (blood draw) experience required.
- Experience administering vaccines and performing EKGs.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and patient registration.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
