Business Consultant / Financial Advisor

Job title: Business Consultant / Financial Advisor
Duration: 12 months (Possibility of Extension)
Working hours: Standard 8:30 to 5:00 pm – 7.5 hours/day
Location: Toronto, ON (2 days/week in office (flexible))
 
Summary:

• This team provides governance for the entire Portfolio.
• Financial focused.
• Looked at each CIO’s portfolio & present monthly information to them in PowerPoint.
• Business Analysis (but not requirement gathering).
• Must be able to own Processes.

 
Must have:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Business Case analysis / Finance.
• Solid communication skills – in front of Business Leaders.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Excel (Advanced, pivots, etc.)
• Must be comfortable working in an unstructured environment – able to connect dots (no hand holding).
• Autonomous – independent and able to work on their own.
• Eager to learn & develop.
• PowerPoint (expert).
• Able to work with large Data sets (which will be provided) & perform financial analysis.

 
Nice to have:

• Banking/Financial industry
• Open to recent grads who are eager to learn and advance
• A combination of skill sets: Finance & how to work in the Tech world for Financial analysis.
• Accounting expertise. Ideally, a CMA is a better fit.
