Senior Principal Consultant – Program Management & Business Transformation
Location

Bay Area, CA or Fresno, CA
Duration: 12 Months -
Candidates must be local to the Bay Area or within the service territory region.

Preference will be given to candidates located near Oakland or Fresno.
Work Arrangement
-
Hybrid schedule requiring 1–2 days per week onsite at either the Fresno office or Oakland office.

A company-issued laptop will be provided; however, candidates may temporarily use a personal or supplier-provided laptop via Citrix access until equipment is issued.

Any additional equipment requirements will be the responsibility of the supplier.
Expense Policy

Mileage, meals, lodging, cell phone, and internet reimbursements require prior manager approval and are subject to established guidelines.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Principal Consultant to lead program visibility, progress tracking, and executive reporting for strategic initiatives within Asset Management and Engineering operations. This individual will be responsible for managing organizational programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful execution of business objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in program management, financial oversight, organizational leadership, and visual reporting across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee complex programs and strategic initiatives from planning through execution.

Develop and maintain visual management tools, dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting.

Track progress across multiple projects and provide regular updates on status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive alignment and program success.

Support organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Implement process improvements, operational efficiencies, and resource management strategies.
-
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to drive decision-making and execution.

Ensure governance, reporting, and program management best practices are followed.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 9 years of experience in management consulting, professional services, business transformation, portfolio management, project management, or program management environments.

Master's degree in a related discipline strongly preferred.

PMP certification strongly preferred.

Experience with portfolio, project, and program management (PPM) methodologies and tools.

Proven success leading business transformation initiatives and enterprise-scale programs.

Advanced experience with dashboarding, KPI reporting, and executive-level visual management.
