Job Title: A/R Recovery Representative I (Tier II)
Location: Rochester NY 14623
Duration: 12 Months
Schedule: M-F the shifts are 8:00am – 5:00pm, 9:00am – 6:00pm, 10:00am – 7:00pm, or 11:00am – 8:00pm. (candidates will need to be open to all shifts)

General Purpose:
  • Responsible for accurate and timely resolution of past due invoices
  • Provides quality customer service to internal/external customers, while mitigating risk to the company
  • Educates clients, partners, and product areas on the resolution process and addresses billing disputes

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Develops and maintains a basic knowledge of clients products and services including, but not limited to, Payroll, Human Resource Services, and/or Acquired portfolios.
  • Manages current, past due, and returned receivable inquiries through inbound and outbound phone and email communication from clients and external partners.
  • Mitigates risk and exposure to Client by balancing service and collection effectiveness.
  • Addresses disputes through available resources, using corresponding systems to resolve and collect revenue client receives from its products and services.
  • Reviews daily payroll holds for timely client contact when past due balances are present.
  • Maintains department policies/procedures to ensure daily compliance.
  • Participates in ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma and a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service, finance, accounting, or payroll required. Consideration may be given to a candidate with a degree in lieu of experience.
  • Strong organization and decision-making skills are required.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access knowledge is preferred.
